The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis a USED SGI Altix 3000 from Silicon Graphics Inc., 12200 Plum Orchard Drive, Silver Spring, Maryland. This requirement is sole sourced because the Silicon Graphics Altix 3000 can meet users specifications in bandwidth, operating system, image scaling, and memory. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 334111 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The order will be a firm fixed priced order with an approximate deliv! ery date on or before 30 March 2005. FOB Destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used.
