The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price purchase order to SANZ, Inc., Englewood, Colorado, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Procedures of FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. The requirement is FSC 7030, for renewal of software/hardware maintenance/update service and technical support for commercial software manufactured and copyrighted by SANZ, Inc. The resulting contract will be for the period 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. A written solicitation will not be issued. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
