The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) STAR-CCM+ Power Session (#1501.1) 1-Year Lease (Quantity – 2 each); 2) STAR-CCM+ Additional Session (#1106.2) 1-Year Lease (Quantity – 2 each); 3) STAR-CCM+ /CAD Exchange (#1309.2) 1-Year Lease (Quantity – 1 each). This requirement is sole soucred to Analysis & Design Application Co. LTD, 60 Broadhollow Rd., Milville, NY 11747-2504, as the only vendor to produce and distribute this software which is unique and required for modeling weapon system performance. Any firms believing that they can provide this exact material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
