The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to purchase from Leco Corp., 3000 Lakeview Avenue, St. Joseph, MI 49085-2396, 710-425 Automated LN2 leveling system for use with the Pegasus 4D GCXGC-TOF system, Pegasus 4D GCXGC-TOF upgrade kit for converting an existing Pegasus III GC-TOF system to a Pegasus 4D GCXGC-TOF system. Upgrade kit consists of LECO LN2 cooled GCXGC dual jet thermal modulation system, secondary column oven, workstation, and ChromaTOF 4D software. Workstation consists of a computer tower and 3.5? floppy dr, read/write DVD/CD dr, dual monitor video card, modem, and NetOp software. ChromaTOF 4D software provides fully integrated system control, automated operation and full qualitative and quantitative data processing capabilities. The NIST library search program and database, installation and 1 yr warranty are also included. 710-508 Vacuum Yupgrade Kit for converting an existing 5ml per minute helium flow capacity Pegasus system to a 10ml per minute helium flow capacity Pegasus system, on a sole source basis, FAR 6.302-1. LECO is the only known source for these upgrades. This posting is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists.
