This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton ANGB, Scotia, NY, has a requirement for a Tandberg 6000 fixed system. Interested vendors must be an authorized service center, install the equipment, int egrate the VTC into existing equipment, maintain the equipment, provide operational training, and provide on-call remote and/or on-site support on a scheduled and/or emergency basis. The VTC equipment will be housed in 54 inch high equipment rack cabinet with plexi door or equal and will include a minimum of two cameras and four push to talk microphones. The VTC equipment will be connected to an overhead projector capable of displaying 2 inputs simultaneously via a 16 x 9 format with lumen output of 2000 o r greater. The following equipment is also required and is brand name or equal. 1 Christie LW25U Wide Screen 16:9 High Resolution 2200 ANSI Lumen LCD projector, 1 Ceiling mount hardware for projector, 1 Extron Crosspoint 8 x 4 HVA system router with audi o, 1 Extron universal computer interface, 1 lot of RGBHV cables, 1 Gentner audio processor with telephone interface, 4 Shure miniature table microphone, 1 TOA audio amplifier, 4 JBL 4 inch ceiling speaker with transformer, 1 Crown 250W stereo amplifier, 2 JBL 5.25 two way wall speaker, 1 Crestron wireless color touch screen remote control system with gateway, 1 custom programming, 1 Crestron dual bus control system, 1 Crestron wall touch remote, 1 Draper Access E 119 inch diagonal wide format manual screen, 1 Draper low voltage control, 1 Middle Atlantic 54 inch high equipment rack cabinet with plexi door, 1 Tandberg 6000 MXP VTC system with natural presenter multisite (four sites), ISDN/IP bandwidth upgrade and NT3 Terminator (not substitutable), 2 Sony pan tilt zoom color video cameras, 2 hardware to mount video cameras. Upon installation, vendor will confirm communications with required sources simultaneously. Vendor will provide a generic training plan and provide training for government representatives within 30 days of VTC installation and certification. Vendor will supply all operating manuals, warranties and other equipment specific/manufacturer supplied documentation. Initial operational training shall be performed for all system installations. Ven dor shall train four operators in the functional operation of all electronic devices associated with the operator positions. In addition, up to four government representatives shall be trained on the functional use of the VTC system, connectivity, and tro ubleshooting.
