This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

Synopsis/Solicitation N0017818R0303 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Advanced Simulation Technology, Inc. (ASTi) for the following manufactured products: audio communication system parts including a powered amplifier 8-channel international version, instructor operator client position, and CIC-FLEX-01 client position. Advanced Simulation Technology Inc. is located in Herndon, VA

The program requires parts for development and replacement parts for an audio communication system representative of the shipboard voice communication system. All parts must be compatible with systems currently fielded on fleet assets. The required acquisition systems are exclusive to ASTi.

Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing.
