This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339113. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking both manufacturers and/or distributors of the exact match or functionally equivalent equipment to the Stryker Zoom Motorized Electric Stretcher and IsoFlex SE Mattress products. This equipment is needed to replace the ageing stretchers currently in use at the hospital. At a minimum, the stretchers must be capable of the following: Motorized Drive System Big Wheel Advanced Mobility Retractable Fifth Wheel to Assist with Traction and Cornering Lift Assist Backrest Recovery Chair Position Up to 700 lb Weight Capacity Staggered Patient Controls with Lockout Glideaway Siderails with Zero Transfer Gap Integrated Patient Scale Seamless Electric to Manual Functionality Chaperone Stretcher Exit System Litter-Mounted Oxygen Bottle Holder Footend Staff Controls Mattress to be gel/foam combination, open column design, chemical resistant cover, three-sided zipper, sloped heel. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this or similar product(s). Please include your business size with your submittal. If providing a submittal and offering equipment as a distributor (non-manufacturer) those contractors shall also submit proof of authorization to distribute from the manufacturer of the offered equipment. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government.
