SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Medical Carts The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes Cleveland Medical Center (CLE VAMC), 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority VAAR 819.7007, Sole source awards to Service-disabled Veteran-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 334111 with a small business size standard of 1,250. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Minburn Technology Group, 10113 Minburn Street, Great Falls, VA 22066-2512 for medical carts. CLE VAMC currently uses Howard Medical Carts. The service and preventive maintenance contract is currently through Minburn for these particular carts. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Friday, May 27, 2022, at 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.  All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
