SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Mental Health Bed The Department of Veterans Affairs Cleveland Medical Center (CLE VAMC), 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) - Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code is 339113 with a small business size standard of 750. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Pineapple Contracts, 2149 Avon Industrial Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 for mental Health Beds. CLE VAMC is planning on purchase the Pineapple Contracts 1RYB Model. They are looking for ALL of the following technical requirements with the bed: Width: 39.8 minimum to 40.8 Length: 82.7 minimum to 83.7 Height: 18.9 minimum 19.9 Weight: 243 minimum Floor mount hardware 100% polyethylene product Rationally molded one-piece construction Textured finish Fire resistant Water resistant and UV Stabilized Anti-microbial material High chemical resistance to ammonia, sodium hydroxide, bleach, Cavit, Quat cleaners Fully recyclable.
