This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation Number FA441721QC074 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote.
This combined synopsis/solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05, Effective March 10, 2021.
Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. Please respond to this RFQ by providing the following information in this document and returning one (1) copy to the POC’s email.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 337214, and Product Service Code (PSC) is 7110. The Size Standard for this NAICS is 1,000 employees. This requirement will be purchased in accordance with FAR 8.004(b) Commercial sources in the open market and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
Requirement for office furniture IAW the attached RFQ, Statement of Work (SOW), and Typical Configurations.
For this project we require the following typical(s):
Typical (1): 0001BA, FCC Typicals – 6’ x 6’ – Single (1 )
Typical (2): 0001BB, FCC Typicals – 6’ x 6’ – Double (Quantity of 3)
Typical (3): 0001CB, FCC Typicals –Modular: Freestanding “L” Shaped Desk – (25)
In addition to the furniture items requested above, the contractor shall provide a quantity of three (3) Full Depth 42Hx36Wx18D freestanding cabinets, as well as a quantity of twenty-four (24) 36”Wx90”H storage lockers.
Contractor is responsible for any and all electrical work and conformance with the NEC, Base Specifications, and Manufacturer’s instructions in regards to the number of circuits in the furniture whip must be the same as the circuits that feed it. The Contractor shall not connect all whip circuits to one building circuit. Base Civil Engineering squadron will not provide any support for electrical hook up. The contractor shall provide a licensed electrician in order to hook up the furniture to provide power to panels.
All product shall be stackable panels (not monolithic panels) to allow the communications squadron to easily remove the section panels to run required cabling through.
The contractor will be responsible for removal of existing furniture. Existing furniture includes a quantity of twenty-three (23) - 6’x 6’ Shaped Desks, Walls, systems cubicles with panels and overhead storage, and other misc systems furniture associated with these cubicle systems. Six (6) of the twenty-three (23) cubicles are already torn down and stacked in a corner. The contractor shall dispose of all furniture at an off base location. The Government will not provide dumpsters for trash or furniture removal.
