The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), the Department of Defense Medical School and Health Sciences University, hereby announces the requirement for daily meals to be provided during field training exercises. The selected contractor will be required to provide meals from July 9, 2005 to July 22, 2005 at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA, for approximately 400 soldiers. At least six different meal options (one breakfast and five lunch and dinner) must exist, to ensure variety over the 14 day exercise and the meals must require no preparation, with no heating or hydration required. The meals must be delivered to Fort Indiantown Gap since the purchaser cannot travel to pick up the meals and the contractor must also provide 100 pounds of ice each morning to be used to cool the water in the water trailors. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-4, and 52.212-5.
