EQUIPMENT STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Introduction/Background
Nutrition and Food Service at VA NJ HCS in East Orange is requesting the purchase of replacement electric tilting skillet braising pan which will be used to cook a large quantity of food including scrambled eggs, braised meats, soups, stews, pasta dishes and more. The tilting skillet can be used for a variety of purposes including: grilling, frying, simmering, and braising.
Objective
Braising Pan, electric, 40 gallon capacity, 10" deep pan, 38" pan height, thermostatic controls, manual tilt, will provide faster cooking times and energy efficiency with meals served for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Time of delivery
Authorized installer will receive new equipment at their location and deliver to customer. Installer will remove and dispose of customer's existing equipment. Installer will uncrate, set in place, and hook new range up to facility provided properly sized utilities within 3ft of termination points. All generated debris will be placed in a facility supplied container. All work to be done during normal business hours.

Standard Features/Specifications
Braising Pan shall be Groen Eclipse Ergonomic Tilting Braising Pan stainless steel, electric-heated, thermostatically controlled, Model BPM- 30E or BPM-40E, on a rounded tubular leg stand. Heavy 5/8 thick stainless steel-clad pan bottom with clamped-on flat bar-type electric heating elements. 40-gallon pan is 38 wide with a 10 deep pan. Smooth- action quick tilting pan body with manual crank tilt mechanism, heavy duty fully adjustable counterbalanced cover with condensate drip shield and cover vent. Single electric connection required; specify voltage (208, 240 or 480 Volt). UL- and NSF- listed. Made in USA.
