This requirement is a manufacturer sole source to Cumberland Engineering Corporation and being bought from Whitaker Brothers Business Machines Inc., 3 Taft Ct, Rockville, MD 20850-1349, which is the only known distributor. This requirement is a sole source requirement due to this model being the only known high security shredder with a minimum throat size of 26" x 26". Any firms believing that they can provide this specific item may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notic, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data and without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
