The intent of the announcement is to identify sources that are qualified business concerns capable of providing the following: Provide library books for McGuire AFB, NJ. LIBRARY BOOK SPECIFICATIONS:One 74-book unit: - 74 new books per month; - Every month the contractor will provide a "prepublication list" with a catalog giving descriptions of the title, (i.e. Kirkus Book Review, NY Times Best Sellers, Library Journal, and Publisher's Weekly); - Hardcover books (no paperbacks); - All new publications; - No duplicates in the order unless specifically requested; - Fiction and nonfiction selections; - Provide adult book plan (best seller books: fiction and non fiction titles, i.e. Stephen King books); - An allowable inventory level of 74 books per month should be 1480 physical titles. Returns to be quarterly. Choice as to which books to be returned with a 30% retention level; - This contract will have a base period with four option years.
