NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION: 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB AL, intends to award on a sole source basis to purchase 4,000 each copies of Regional Studies Reader textbook, published by the Southern Center for International Studies. These textbooks are for the Air Force ROTC senior course (AS 400), and will meet the requirement for 144 AFROTC detachments, the Regional Offices and the Curriculum Division. The government intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the publisher of the book, The Southern Center for International Studies, 320 W. Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta GA 30305. The solicitation number is F13DAW31901100. No request for quotes will be issued. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. If there are individuals that provide the required quantity of the specified textbook with a delivery date no later than of 31 Oct 2003, a response to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 noon on 30 July 2003.
