The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Pearson Education, Inc., Upper Saddle River, NJ for purchase of the following items:1. World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Student Edition Textbook, 6th Edition Textbooks (Quantity - 900 copies) 2. World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Teacher's Edition Guide (Quantity – 32 copies). 3. World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Teaching Resources (Quantity – 32 copies). 4. World Geography: Building a Global Perspective, 2002 Resources CD-ROM (Quantity – 32 copies). 5. Shipping and Handling to AFIADL Warehouse, Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL 36118. These Textbooks will be used to meet the training requirements of the 794 Air Force JROTC units and to ensure continuity in the Cadets' instruction. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The Sole Source authority for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1)(2).
