This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48.

Fort Carson intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract based on the lowest priced technically acceptable and desired delivery terms for professional-graded musical instruments. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339992 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a total Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. In accordance with FAR 19.102 (f) and the non-manufacturer rule, all items must be manufactured by a small business.

All items in CLINs 0001-0008 must be "first-line, professional-quality musical instruments" per Army Regulation 220-90. CLINs 0001-0008 shall be quoted FOB Destination to Ft Carson, CO 80913. ***The desired delivery date is within 15 days after award date. ***Expedited Delivery Date Requested*** on or before 16 March 2011***. If you cannot meet the desired delivery date, please specify your anticipated delivery date within your quote.

All musical instruments in Clins 0001-0008 shall be professional grade model. No student or intermediate models will be considered. All items new and non-refurbished. If the Contractor is quoting items other than the brand name and model requested; the Contractor shall provide the manufacturers name, model number and detailed specifications of the item in their quote.
