This notice is posted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of 1 each custom 40- channel multi-pin transformer isolated two way split, with ground lifts on each input Audio Snake System with the following components: 1 each rack mount stage box; 1 each 40-channel multi-pin transformer isolated two way split, with ground lifts on each input; 1 each rack mountable; must fit in 14-space rack; 40-female XLR inputs, labeled 1-40; 16-male XLR outputs, labeled A-P; 6-multi-pin inputs for input sub-snakes (allows use of either the stage box or the sub-snakes with stage boxes); labeled Sub 1-8, Sub 9-16, Sub 17-24, and Sub 25-40; 1-multi-pin output for output sub-snake(allows use of either the stage box or the sub-snake with return outputs) labeled Sub A-P; all inputs and outputs to be labeled by engraving; 6 sub-snakes with stage box: 25 ft. cable; one end with a stage box consisting of 16-female XLR inputs; other end with multi-pin output; Each stage box to be labeled by its corresponding input on the Rack Mount Stage Box( ex: 1-8, 9-16, 17-24, and 25-32, 33-40: 1 extra (6th) box to be labeled A1-A8); Labeled by engraving; one sub-snake with return outputs: returns need not be transformer isolated or have ground lifts, 25 foot cable, one end with “fanout” consisting of 16-male XLR connectors, other end with multi-pin input, each output to be labeled by its correlating return output on the rack mount stage box (A-P), labeled by engraving; Two multi-pin fanouts: 10 foot cable, 56-channels with 40-male XLR connectors and 16-female CLR connectors(all on one end), other end with hermaphroditic, threaded connector( Whirlwind Mass W3 style connector, for instant connection at that end of the cable), configured for soundcraft venue theater 40-channel console with master module in the center; six 50 foot multi-pin snake cables: 50 foot cable, 56-channel cable with connectors wired to match the 40x16 configuration of the stage box on one end and the 40x16 fanouts at the other end, cables must have the same hermaphroditic threaded connectors on each end(Whirlwind Mass W3 style connectors for instant connection at either end of cable); one road case: 14-space, shock mount tensilight(audio any list style), one 2-space, 14” deep drawer, three 4-space, 14” deep drawers, must accommodate stage box in the front, and drawers in the back, removable doors on both front and back, must meet AFA specifications, to include heavy-duty casters, heavy-duty latches, and heavy-duty handles; six 30-foot sub-snake extension cables: 25 foot cable, multi-pin connector on one end to attach to the inputs of the rack mount stage box, multi-pin connector on other end to attach to the sub snakes with stage boxes.
