In accordance with Military Specification MIL-PRF-83936C, "Remover, Paint, Tank Type; for Aircraft Wheels, Landing Gear Components, and Other Aircraft and Support", dated 27 December 1996.
QPL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: QPL transformed to QPD, October 30, 2009. Please go to http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, and follow the steps below to view the QPD.
1. Input "83936" in Document Number field and click "Submit"
2. Click on the Specification or QPL link in "Document ID" column.
3. Click on "Qualification" in the "Overview" section to view the QPD.
Use: For removing difficult paint finishes from aircraft wheels, landing gears, and other components.
Type 3. Ethanolamine/N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) formula
Size: 208 Liters (55 Gallons)
Shelf Life Code 4. Age on delivery shall not exceed 2 months.
Date of reinspection shall be 12 months from date of manufacture.
