The Defense Distribution Center (DDC) has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Contract for various quantities and sizes of stretch wrap. The following Defense Distribution Depots will be identified as delivery points: Defense Distribution Depot Columbus (DDCO), Columbus, Ohio; Defense Distribution Depot Corpus Christi (DDCT), Corpus Christi, Texas; Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin (DDJC), Tracy, California; Defense Distribution Mapping Agency (DDMA), Richmond, Virginia; Defense Distribution Depot Norfolk (DDNV), Norfolk, Virginia; Defense Distribution Depot Oklahoma (DDOO), Tinker AFB, Oklahoma; Defense Distribution Depot Pearl Harbor (DDPH), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Defense Distribution Depot Puget Sound (DDPW), Bremmerton, Washington; Defense Distribution Depot Red River (DDRT), Texarkana, Texas; Defense Distribution Depot Richmond (DDRV), Richmond, Virginia; Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna (DDSP), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Defense Distribution Depot Tobyhanna (DDTP), Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. Contract period shall be for the base year period of August 8, 2005 through August 7, 2006 with four (4) option year periods. An economic price adjustment clause will be used to offset unpredictable changes in material costs during contract performance. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 326112 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government will make payment for all stretch wrap ordered under any resultant contract via credit card. Therefore, to be considered for award, the Contractor must be capable of accepting payment for the stretch wrap via the Government Purchase Card. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror using the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. The solicitation will provide the evaluation factors for award. The solicitation will also identify all information that a prospective offeror must submit in order to be considered for award. Failure to submit all the information requested by the solicitation may result in the proposal being eliminated from consideration for award. It is anticipated that solicitation SP3100-05-R-0017 will be posted to this site the week of June 13, 2005. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. The solicitation will provide the proposal due date and time.
