This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 effective 30 May 2014.

This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) effort for a quantity of 72 each Transit Cases with the following specifications: The commercial off the shelf empty MGC transit case, Color: Olive Drab, Green (O.D.Green), NSN: 5895-01-613-9465. Cases must meet the specifications of NSN: 5895-01-613-9465. Current Quantity Required: 72 each. The vendor will be responsible for providing complete cases to include all permanently affixed high density foam inserts. See attached drawings for the bottom and top foam inserts for design and layout of the foam inserts. Interior is to be hard density, extruded foam (non-reconfigurable). Foam should fit tightly and securely around equipment being stored in the cases. The vender will be required to provide one demo case to PD Net E prior to full production. This demo case will be utilized to determine adequacy of foam density and fit of equipment. The demo case may be subjected to drop tests and may be damaged. Vendors should not include this case in the count for final deliverable quantity. The successful vendor will be forwarded 2 (two) .SLDPRT and .SLDDRW files for use in manufacturing the demo case.

The demo case shall be delivered 2 weeks after date of award. After the demo case has been approved, the quantity of 72 cases shall be delivered by 15 October, 2014. The demo case is anticipated to be delivered to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, Mark For: MGC Transit Case. Upon notification that the demo is sufficient (commercial off the shelf empty MGC transit case, Color: Olive Drab, Green (O.D.Green), NSN: 5895-01-613-9465. Cases must meet the specifications of NSN: 5895-01-613-9465. Current Quantity Required: 72 each. The vendor will be responsible for providing complete cases to include all permanently affixed high density foam inserts. See attached drawings for the bottom and top foam inserts for design and layout of the foam inserts. Interior is to be hard density, extruded foam (non-reconfigurable). Foam should fit tightly and securely around equipment being stored in the cases), the vendor will then be required to deliver the full quantity of 72ea to Tobyhanna, PA 18466-5110. Inspection and acceptance shall be at Destination. Shipment will be FOB Destination.
