UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for Keeper w/Slide, Steel. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Proposal. The period of performance is one (1) year with two (2) year options, if exercised. Specifications shall be as follows: LINE ITEM 0001 - HWS2913- M, 9890, TYX, KEEPER, W/SLIDE, STEEL, DESCRIPTION: HARDWARE SPECIALTY, ADJECTIVE: W/SLIDE, STEEL, U/M: EA, KEEPER WITH SLIDE, THE KEEPER WITH SLIDE SHALL BE STEEL, BLACK. Delivery is FOB Destination: FCI Raybrook, NY and USP Lee County, VA. Delivery Acceptance is 30 days after receipt of delivery order. This requirement is domestic only and all or none. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 350,000 each. The maximum quantity is 1,050,000 each. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: past performance, ability to conform to specifications, and price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about September 6, 2002.
