The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida, intends to issue solicitation RFQ30211-0015-4, for the requirements of: Men's work boots, 6" uppers, osft leather with composite toe meeting ANSI specifications. Meets ANSI standard Z-41 (1991) to meet electrical standards & weight protection impact stamped on boot. Boots must not contain any metallic materials. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery date of No Later Than February 27, 2004, required to the Federal Correctional Complex, 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, FL 33521. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 11, 2003, and will be posted to the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 15, 2004. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
