UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract for Polyester Lining for Unisex Jackets for the Navy & Coast Guard. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Proposal. The period of performance is for three (3) years. Specifications shall be as follows: LINE ITEM 0001 - FAB2927- CLTH, LINING, POLY,BLK-385,58 INCH WIDE,FUS* IAW-A-A-55291, DESCRIPTION: LINING, MATERIAL: POLYESTER COLOR: BLACK #385, SIZE: 58 INCH WIDE, USEABLE, SPEC: I.A.W. C.I.D. A-A-55291, LINING SHALL CONSIST OF A POLYESTER TWILL FACING CLOTH, AND BATTING THAT POSSESSES ONE SCRIM, RESPECTIVELY. UNIT OF MEASURE: YD Delivery is FOB Destination: FCI Miami, Florida. Delivery shall be no later than 45 calendar days for the first delivery order and five (5) working days on all subsequent orders, unless within any 45 day period, the quantity ordered exceeds the inventory stock level; the delivery time will then be 45 days after the receipt of delivery order. The estimated quantity is 900,000 yards. Bid Samples are required and are a condition of contract award. This requirement is domestic only. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: past performance, ability to conform to specifications, and price.
