This is a source sought to locate additional sources who can manufacture house Slippers in accordance with specification below. The house slippers have to be manufactured in accordance with DFARS 252-225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program and DFARS 252-225-7012, Preference for certain domestic commodities, which is known as the Berry Amendment.
The acquisition will be a base year with four option periods. Delivery is scheduled 31 Mar each year. The estimated quantity is around 1100 per year.
The applicable NAICS Code is 316212 and the applicable size standard for this proposed acquisition is 500 employees.

Men and Womenâs Slippers

1. ABSTRACT. This purchase description covers the requirements for Menâs and Womenâs Slippers.
2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
a. The slipper shall be made of Navy blue foam velour and weather resistant molded sole. The footbed or innersole shall be constructed using foam lining for cushioning.
b. The weather resistant molded sole shall be 1/8â thick with ¼â weather resistant side walls.
c. Special features include folded over side edges on the vamp and back quarters for ankle comfort.
3. MEASUREMENT. The Slipper sizes shall conform to the following sizing measurements from toe seam to heel seam across bottom of the sole:
