Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated ยงยง50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one qualified supplier who will provide Ground Maintenance Service to Southern Crescent Technical College, (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. Technical College System of Georgia on behalf of Southern Crescent Technical College is seeking to establish an agency contract for lawn and grounds maintenance with one qualified, responsible bidder, for our main Griffin Campus, Griffin Campus- Site 2, Griffin Ellis Crossing center, and the Henry Shopping Center. Under the terms of this contract, the Contractor shall provide overall grounds maintenance that result in a clean, attractive, and well-groomed appearance at all times. All exterior areas of the property are included in this contract except where noted. Periodic changes in the use of various areas of the campus such as building, paving, or clearing are to be anticipated and cannot be foreseen in every detail. Unless otherwise specified, service for routine contract items and special work items shall include the Contractor furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, fuel, materials (unless provided by the College in accordance with these documents), insurance, bonding, and all other items incidental thereto which are necessary to perform the work as specified for grounds maintenance and is responsible for securing all required license and permits related to this service. MANDATORY PREBID CONFERENCE: Southern Crescent Technical College will be hosting a virtual Mandatory Pre-bid Conference at 10:00am EST on September 9th, 2021 to discuss the scope of work associated with this project.
