BLOOD BORNE PATHOGEN KITS The NTSB intends to issue a solicitation and award a contract for blood borne pathogen kits for a base year with two one-year options. The NTSB has an immediate requirement for approximately 900 kits and anticipates ordering approximately the same number of kits in each of the two succeeding years. The resultant contract may be either an indefinite quantity contract or a requirements contract. Each kit consists of the following items and quantities; 1 each Kappler Pro-Vent 7000 Coverall w/ Hood & Attached Boot, 2 pairs "High Risk" 14 mil., 12" Cuff Latex Gloves, 1 pair Nitrile 11" Long, 6 mil., Powder-Free, Puncture-Resistant Non-Latex Gloves, 1 Pair Heavy-Duty Canvas/Safety Cuff double Leather Palm working Gloves, 1 each Fog-Free Indirect Vented Goggles (Clear), 1 Pair of Latex Boot Covers w/ Non-Slip Sole, 2 each N95 Particulate Respirator with inhalation/exhalation valve, 1 each Head Sweatband, 4 each Antimicrobial Hand Wipes, 2 each Surface Disinfectant Wipes, 2 each Red Biohazard Waste Bags, 1 each Instruction Sheet/Incident Report Form, 1 each small bottle of Purrell Hand Sanitizer. The contents of the kit must be packed and sealed in a sturdy plastic bag with the contents and quantities labeled on the front of each kit. Kits will be packed 10 per case and each case will contain two rolls of duct tape. The solicitation will be posted in approximately 10 days and will close thirty days thereafter. A September contract award is anticipated. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 423490 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
