The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to PBS Group to purchase Airman?s Coins. The total number of coins is 35,292. Specifications of coins are 1 ?? diameter X .125? thick. They are etched enamel coins with colors on both sides. Lettering will be upper case This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 22 Feb 08. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
