The Air Force Academy has a requirement for the purchase of USAFA Cadet Bathrobes. The bathrobes shall be manufactured in accordance with USAF Academy Specifications 211 34CU 1500-06, dated 3 Aug 2004. Basic fabric shall be velour 100% polyester 60â wide, 7.5 oz. Per linear yard plus/minus 1/2 oz. The fabric finish shall be napped on one side. (Fabric shall equal style #33294 Guilford Mills or better). Color shall be silver (Cable No. 80139 of the Standard Color reference of America (Tenth Edition) with a different color piping for each class year. The menâs robe shall be knee length and womenâs robe shall be ankle length. Breast pocket for each robe shall contain an embroidered silver-color propeller and wings emblem. First Article may be required IAW FAR 52.209-3. Delivery FOB destination to USAF Academy CO 80840.
