OFFICER CEREMONIAL BELT DESCRIPTION: Ceremonial Officer Blue Belt will be constructed with leather backing. Fronting will have 4 each 5/16 inch wide gold bullion runners and 3/16 inch blue nylon runners. Keeper will be of gold bullion with leather backing ¾ inch width. Overall width of belt is 1 ¾ inch wide. The buckle will be constructed of brass 3 inch by 2 inch and will be the standard U.S. Army Coat of Arms raised metal. Belt will be of universal size (adjustable). EXCEPTION DATA: See Vanguard item number: 2513690 OFFICER SABER DESCRIPTION: Sabre and Scabbard, for US Army Infantry officer. Tombac polished hilt, black grip with silver-plated wire, nickel-plated blade, with nickel-plated scabbard with two rings. EXCEPTION DATA: SIZE RANGE FROM 29  34 INCHES Vanguard, stock numb er 8910200 NCO SWORD DESCRIPTION: The straight blade is single-edged with only a rudimentary false edge, and it has a single broad fuller which runs all the way from the ricasso to the point. The specimen illustrated is etched on the obverse side with floral sprays and milita ry trophies plus an American eagle holding a ribbon bearing the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM in its mouth. The reverse is etched with the same designs, and the back of the blade bears a leaf decoration. The entire hilt is of gilded anodize (gold plated). The grips are cast in an imitation of wire wrapping. The pommel is urn-shaped and decorated at the top with oak leaves in relief. There is a capstan rivet. The knucklebow is a four-sided strip decorated at its juncture with the pommel with a floral spray a nd in the center below the blade with floral sprays on either side of rosette. The bilobate counter-guard is hinged on the reverse side. The scabbard is black leather with gilded anodize (gold plated) throat, middle band and tip. The throat has both a h ook studs for a frog and a ring. The middleband has a ring also, and the tip has a well-developed drag. For an example, the size is 38 inches overall, with blade of 31 inches by 1 inch wide at the hilt. EXCEPTION DATA: SIZE RANGE FROM 29  34 INCHES SUSPENDERS DESCRIPTION: The suspenders will be made of 100% durable elastic whiter cotton-rayon material. Width will be 1 3/8 with brass or silver metal buckles. Adjustment buckles will fasten tightly to prevent slipping. Adjustable slide in center will be made of brass or silver colored metal and will measure 1 ¾ long and 7/8 wide. EXCEPTION DATA: Vanquard number: 8800300 Mens Belt DESCRIPTION: Belt to be constructed of 1/8 inch thick leather with a high gloss (poromeric) finish. Belt to be 1¾ inches wide of specified length. To be stitched with black thread 1/8 inch from top and bottom edges. Belt to have a removable solid brass buckle, 2 inches by 2¼ inches. See attached sketch. Belt to have five adjustment holes, and a ½ inch black leather keeper. Lengths should range to cover waist sizes 26 to 44. Womens Belt DESCRIPTION: Belt to be constructed of 1/8 inch thick leather with a high gloss (poromeric) finish. Belt to be 1¼ inches wide of specified length. To be stitched with black thread 1/8 inch from top and bottom edges. Belt to have a removable solid bras s buckle, 2 inches by 1¾ inches. See attached sketch. Belt to have five adjustment holes, and a ½ inch black leather keeper. Lengths should range to cover waist sizes 26 to 44.
