U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Edgewood Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, the procurement of DuPont Tychem SL 277T Toxicological Agent Protective (TAP) Aprons to be distributed by Fisher Safety, Hanover Park, Illinois.

Under the proposed acquisition, the contractor shall deliver the DuPont Tychem SL 277T Toxicological Agent Protective Aprons. These aprons offer protections to individuals from exposure to toxicological agents, during chemical storage activities and chemical weapons demilitarization. An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity award is anticipated in April 2009. The policies and procedures set forth in FAR Part 12 will be used for this procurement.
