This Market Research is being conducted to locate sources to manufacture cadet mess dress uniform for the United States Air Force Academy consisting of menâs jackets and trousers, and womenâs consisting of Jackets and skirts. The uniform must be manufactured from USAFA Specs and USAFA Letter of Exception dtd 26 Feb 2001, from Type I, Shade Blue 1583, IAW Purchase Description AESC 82-6A, menâs jacket, AESC 82-7, menâs trousers, AESC 82-4A, womenâs skirts, and AESC 82-3A, womenâs jackets, manufactured from tropical, polyester wool material. These uniforms are made to measure and no variation is allowed. The contractor shall furnish all materials. The estimated yearly quantities are Menâs Jackets 850 each, Womenâs Jackets 150 each, Womenâs Skirts 190 each, abd Menâs trousers 850 each, The resultant contractor must be certified for each applicable garment through Department of the Air Force, Human Systems Center Clothing Division located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH 45533-7009, Interested contractors not certified may obtain information on certification approval from HSC/APC, 1901 Tenth Street, WPAFB, OH 45433-7605, attn: Gina Rice. The Act restricts DoD expenditure of funds for supplies consisting in whole or in part of certain article and item not grown or produced in the United States or itâs possessions. Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840. A firm-fixed requirementâs type contract is anticipated with a one-year base period plus four (4) options years.
