The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement of one base year and two option years for Naval Air Station, Whidbey, Oak Harbor, WA for the following material: Non-Magnetic dry suits- 15 each and Non-Magnetic Wetsuits, 15 each, non-magnetic hooded shorty's, and custom measurments. Contract will include the line item for custom measurements to include travel and labor. The procedures of FAR PART 12, Commercial Acquisition, and FAR PART 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. The Government foresees an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract for a base year and two option years. The quantities for option years are the same as base year amount. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link, www.neco.navy.mil. It is anticipated that the RFQ, will be issued on or about 5 March, 2004, with offers due on or about 19 March, 2004. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or other unzipping software is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. Interested parties may utilize www.fedbizopps.gov and request an E-mail notification by clicking on the “FedBizOpps Vendor” tab then “Acquisition Notification service” then “register to receive notification by solicitation number.” By registering with this service, you should receive notification as to when the solicitation has been uploaded to the NECO website.
