The purchase description (Military Specification, Mil-C –82243F, RCP Coveralls, NSN: 8415-00-782-2815/2816) is to be used for this item. This is an IDTC acquisition with a base year plus three (3) term options for 13,300 Min and 19,000 Max for the base year and 7,000 Min and 19,000 Max for the remaining three (3) term options to be delivered to New Cumberland PA and Tracy CA depots. Production lead-time begins 165 days after date of award (8) delivery increments). Accelerated deliveries are acceptable. This is an unrestricted acquisition and will utilize the Best Value method of source selection. Technical proposals submitted are required to include Product Demonstration Models (PDMs), Experience/Past Performance, Socioeconomic, DLA Mentoring Agreement, and JWOD Entity Act. Product Demonstration Model requirement: (2 EA of size large). The RFP will be issued using FOB Destination. Anticipated issuance date is on or after 17 October 2003. All materials used in fabrication are to be furnished by the successful bidder. All responsible sources may submit offers that DSCP will consider.
