NAVAHCS (Prescott, AZ) UNIFORMS This requirement is for providing and maintaining work uniforms for the Northern Arizona Veterans Administration Health Care System (NAVAHCS) located in Prescott, AZ. The NAVAHCS is a level 3 (which is the lowest level) hospital, most of these uniforms will have direct patient contact. There is a chance that the uniforms will have some amount of blood born pathogen contamination or other biohazard material. The requirement is as follows: All soiled uniforms, mops, and door mats picked up and delivered clean once a week. Contractor will also provide the following uniforms in various sizes, quantities and for various work schedules, (3 to 7 days per week): 1. MICROFIBER MOPS 500 per week to start Microfiber mops will be both wet and dry. 27. Door Walk Off Mats with NAVAHCS Logo 8 per week Soiled door mats will be collected and replaced with clean door mats on a weekly basis by Contractor. All soiled uniforms picked up from the previous week will be cleaned, pressed and delivered to the appropriate place within one week. Supply new employees with new uniforms within 1 week of being measured. Handle soiled uniforms that need repair separately and make repair or a replace garment, within one week of pick up. Replace uniform garments due to fair wear and tear within one week of being returned. Replacements will be new or nearly new in quality. Provide separate containers for clean and soiled uniforms and microfiber mops. Provide Initial uniforms as per type and quantities listed in the RFP, all uniforms must have a patch attached. Patches will be provided by the contractor. Initial uniform issues will consist of 11 for each employee working 5 day week, and 15 uniforms for each employee working on a 7 day week respectively; all initial issue and new employees will receive New uniforms.
