The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), anticipates soliciting for proposals on the production of two (2) subtypes (H7N2 & H7N3) of Avian Influenza Vaccine, Killed Virus, with equal doses to be produced for each subtype. The goal is to add an additional 30 million doses of vaccine (15 million of each) to an already established Avian Influenza vaccine bank. Phase 1 will consist of the production and storage of bulk killed antigen, and the evaluation of test serials produced for those antigens. Phase 2 will consist of the manufacture and shipment of finished final product. The Contractor will be responsible for finishing bottling, labeling and shipping these antigens in final containers when authorized. Shipping will be F.O.B. Destination (locations to be determined). A single award is anticipated and will be a firm fixed price, definite quantity contract.
