This procurement is 100% small business set aside. The Oregon Army National Guard is in need of having catered meals provided at the training site located at Camp Rilea, Building 7027, Warrenton, Oregon. The selected contractor is to provide prepare d meals, to include condiments, plates, utensils, and napkins. The selected contractor will be serving approximately 419 breakfast and approximately 419 dinner meals each day. Performance period is to commence with breakfast on April 18, 2004 and ends wit h breakfast on April 30, 2004. The estimated total meals to be served is 5,447 for breakfast and 5,028 for dinner. The maximum allowable cost is $7.00 for breakfast and $9.00 for dinner. All products used in any portion of the meal must meet the minimum Federal/State requirements for that particular meal. The breakfast meals as a minimum need to consist of a main entre (meat), two sides, oatmeal, fresh fruit, milk, coffee, tea and fruit juice. The dinner meals as a minimum need to consist of a main dis h (meat), two sides (one must be a vegetable), fresh salad, fresh fruit, dessert, milk, coffee, tea and punch. In addition, the selected contractor will have the option of either providing their own mobile kitchen or having Government furnished kitchen pr ovided. If the selected contractor opts to use Government provided kitchen, the contractor will be bound by the terms and conditions as outlined in the solicitation.
