*Peas and Lentils, Dry (PBL): Whole dry peas, split peas, and lentils shall meet the specifications as defined in the " Official United States Standards for Whole Dry Peas, Split Peas, and Lentils" in effect at the time of the contract. Whole dry peas shall grade U.S. No. 2 or better, except U.S. No. 3 or better because of cracked seed coats. Split peas shall grade U.S. No. 2 or better. Lentils shall grade U.S. No. 3 or better.
