This is a Sources Sought notice for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. VISN 4 has a requirement to provide bread and bakery products for the following VA Medical Centers (VAMCs): " Altoona, PA " Butler, PA " Clarksburg, WV " Coatesville, PA " Erie, PA " Lebanon, PA " Philadelphia, PA " Pittsburgh, PA " Wilkes Barre, PA " Wilmington, DE The North American Industry Code (NAICS) is 311812, and the applicable small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is planned as unrestricted, utilizing cascading set-aside award procedures. The contract period will begin from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013, with two (2) one-year option years, all subject to the availability of funds. The electronic solicitation will be available for download from the Federal Business Opportunities website on/around November 7, 2012. Quotations will be due to the Contracting Officer on/around November 21, 2012. Vendors may provide quotes for one or more of the VAMCs listed above. The VA reserves the right to make award to one or more vendors. Interested vendors are asked to notify the Contracting Officer via email no later than 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, of their interest in providing a quote on this procurement.
