This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a request for information only. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Hubzone, 8(a), Woman Owned, etc) relative to NAICS code 424720 (size standard of 100 employees or less). Responses to this request for information synopsis will be used by the government to make appropriate Acquisition decisions. Responses to this sources sought shall NEITHER constitute responses to solicitation which is not currently available nor a request to be added to a prospective bidders list to receive a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely the Government's discretion. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is seeking information on a potential contractor to supply and deliver 45000 gallons of Biodiesel Grade 20 and 1600 gallons of Unleaded gas to various buildings on the main campus of the MEDVAMC. Sources interested in this notice shall submit the following information: (via email only) 1. Company name, address, point of contact, cage code, size of business pursuant to North American industrial classification system (NAICS) 424720. 2. Evidences of applicable business permits, licenses required by the Federal, State, and Local regulations. 3. Responses to the following questions: (1) Is your firm registered in Central Contractor Registration: www.ccr.gov. (2) Is your business large or small business under NAICS 424720? (3) What is your firm's small business classification? (4) Is your firm qualified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business? If yes, is your firm registered at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/general_user/search/default.asp and verified by the VA's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE)? This is not a request for proposals or request for quotes and in no way obligates the government to award any contract. Responses to this notice shall be in writing by e-mail addressed to [email protected]. All responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 PM. Local time on Wednesday June 22, 2011. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Firms responding to this announcement, which fail to provide all of the required information, cannot be used to help the government make the acquisition decisions, which is the intent of this synopsis.
