The Imperial Irrigation District (IID), is requesting bids from highly qualified contractors, for the reconductoring transmission upgrade of the "CD" 92KV line in accordance with the documents posted for this solicitation. The proposed construction project will be in two phases. Phase I will include the line from Avenue 42 to North La Quinta Substations, a total of 3.85 miles, and Phase II will include the line from Avenue 58 to Jefferson Substations, which consists of 5.1 miles plus 0.9 miles line of upgrade on the 92 kV "CS" Line. Also, with the proposed line construction, a minor upgrade to the existing substation bus will be required at Jefferson, Avenue 58, Avenue 42, and North La Quinta Substations in accordance with IID substation detail drawings. 1.
