Synopsis for Solicitation N0018919Q0310 Glass Solarium Kit (NAVFAC MIDLANT) NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract to provide a Glass Solarium Kit for NAVFAC MID-ATLANTIC, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 327215– Glass Product Manufacturing Made of Purchased Glass with a size standard of 1000 (# of employees). The proposed contract will be competed utilizing full and open competition. Questions should be submitted directly to the Contract Specialist, Stacey Dixon via email no later than Tuesday, 18 June 2018 at 10:00 AM EST to allow sufficient response time prior to the solicitation closing date. Vendor is required to submit their quote in writing directly to the Contract Specialist, Stacey Dixon at [email protected] no later than Thursday, 20 June 2019 at 10:00 AM EST. The Government requests an all or none Firm Fixed Price quote for a Glass Solarium Kit for NAVFAC MID-ATLANTIC in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Priced quotes will be due on the closing date of subject RFQ and must be held firm for thirty (30) days. NOTE: Only electronic submissions shall be accepted. Hand-carried or faxed quotes will not be accepted. A complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 14 June 2019. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
