This RFP is for a software solution for the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (CVMDL), which is a professional service entity of the Department of Pathobiology & Veterinary Sciences (DP&VS). CVMDL provides educational experiences and extensive student mentorship to develop the professional skills necessary for our students to transition into productive clinical, professional, and research careers. The research profile of DP&VS focuses on infectious diseases of animals and humans, vaccines, veterinary pathology, and wildlife diseases. CVMDL provides service to the University and citizens of the State of Connecticut and integrates with the research of DP&VS and provides students with opportunities in clinical pathology and laboratory diagnostics. Together, CVMDL and DP&VS provide high quality academic, research, and work opportunities that are truly unique on the Storrs campus, and stand at the forefront of One Health Initiative at UConn.
