The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2., Webster Field St. Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with Custom Metal Products, 9640 Topanga Canyon Place #G, Chatsworth CA, 91311-4100, to supply AN/UPM-155 Cover Assemblies in support of the Radar Test Set Project. The acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services or supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. The required item produced by Custom Metal Products must be manufactured according to strict standarda and sepcifications per current design 8040004979(G) which is owned solely by Custom Metal Products. They are the original equipment manufacturer of the front cover assembly, designed and developed as part of the AN/UPM-155 Test Sets. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary date in the responses will be protected where so designated.
