The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide 2000 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Citation Authority Badges, consecutively numbered in duplicate pairs. The actual size of the badge is 2.26 inches by 1.32 inches with a weight of approximately 1 ounce. Base metal(100HGE) heavy gold electroplate with a minimum thickness of 100 millionths of an inch of gold or more of a purity equal to or exceeding 18 karats will be applied by the contractor. The badge will be soli d backed construction with a flat back. The castle logo shall be attached with a minimum of two swags, be centered, level and fit flush and shall consist of chrome plating over hot nickel. Badge dies, castle dies and associated tools shall be manufactured to complete the manufacturing process and shall consist of two dies each for the badge and castle. The badge and castle tools and dies shall become the property of the U.S. Government and shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer at the time the delive ry of the full order is made.
