The government intends to procure the following items under Full and Open Competitive procedures. (1) 200 lbs alloy 145, (2) 1 each, Shipping Charges. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract. Delivery is FOB destination to Yorktown, VA 23691. Complete RFQ (N00189-04-T-0368) package available upon request in writing, by email ([email protected]), or by fax (757-443-1376). When requesting a copy of RFQ (N00189-04-T-0368), contract must state that neither the requestor nor principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so will be grounds for refusing the request. This procurement will be accomplished through commercial item procedures. Numbered Note, Number 1 applies. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. After receipt of the initial proposals and establishment of the competitive range, the Contracting Officer intends to conduct a competitive, anonymous, on line-reverse auction as described in the RFQ. Submission of a quote, in response to the RFQ, will be considered as consent that the offeror will participate in the auction and the offeror’s price can be revealed during the reverse auction. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offers at anytime prior to award.
