Request For Quotes: AG-0116-S-06-0065 Stockpiled Aggregate Production This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued; however, associated documents including supplemental specifications, drawings, and special contract requirements will be incorporated into any resultant award and should be reviewed prior to submitting a quote. The Tongass National Forest wishes to acquire between 5,000 and 10,000 cubic yards of aggregate production (crushed rock) for stockpiling at each of two locations on Prince of Wales Island, Southeast Alaska. The quarry sources, if the selected contractor elects to utilize the existing rock sources shown on the drawings, will also be the stockpile sites. All work including mobilization of equipment associated with providing the stockpiled rock will be incidental to payment for the rock on a cubic yard basis. The work includes certification for quality & quantity, quality control, and quantity measurement including sampling, testing, equipment, personnel, and inspection necessary to meet product requirements.
