The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract with Wayne Boggs, 599 Marmora Ave, Tampa, FL 33606-3823 using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(2). This requirement is for an air boss for the 2007 Joint Service Open. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price using other than full and open competition procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all proposals received within three (3) days after publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
