This is a pre-solicitation notice for Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center, (AMARC), Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, and equipment to perform all operations necessary in connection with AMARC Maintenance Services at Davis-Monthan AFB AZ. Description of Service: Provide maintenance support professionals on a temporary basis for AMARC, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Positions requested are: 1EA-Aircraft Structural Engineer, 1EA-Aircraft Painter, 6EA-Materials Examiner (Munitions Specialist), 7EA-Aircraft Journeyman Mechanic, 21EA-Aircraft Worker, 3EA-Supply - Material Control, 4EA-Supply - Forward Supply Spec, 5EA-Packaging Specialist Support, 3EA-Aircraft Non-Powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Mechanic, 3EA-Aircraft Powered AGE Mechanic, 1EA-Maintenance Scheduler, 5EA-Aircraft Ordnance Systems Mechanic (Egress Mechanic), 1EA-Project Supervisor, and 25EA-Mech Helper. Additional personnel/positions could also be added or deleted through the course of the contract. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards outlined in the Statement of Work as posted with the solicitation. The base period of performance will be May 1, 2005, through September 30, 2005, with four one-year option periods, all of which will be included in the evaluation for award. This solicitation is set-aside exclusively for SBA Section 8(a) firms. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 488190 and the corresponding size standard is $6 million. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial format Request for Proposals, using Past/Present Performance/Price Tradeoff evaluation procedures. The solicitation will be issued on or about 11 Mar 2005. It will be available only via the Electronic Procurement System (www.fedbizopps.gov).
