This is a notice for the intended issuance of a sole source contract to Treadwell Corp., 341 Railroad Street, Thomaston, CT, 06787-0458, to deliver Automated Electrolytic Gas Calibration Enhancement to the DV 21H41 sites located at Norfolk, VA, San Diego, CA, Groton, CT, and Ford Island, HI in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) titled, Statement of Work (SOW) For The Contractor Trainer Equipment (CTE) Portion Of The Automated Electrolytic Oxygen Generator (AEOG) Simulator Training Device, dated 7 August 2007. Delivery Date: 1 Year After Date of Contract (ADC) Award. This contract will be awarded per the authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Treadwell Corp. is the sole manufacturer of the AEOG training device, and the only responsible source to have specific proprietary knowledge in order to complete Trainer Hardware installation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement as prime contractor. The Government will consider any company believing they have the capability of satisfying this requirement, and are invited to provide a technical capability statement. A determination by the Government not to compete the procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Proprietary data in any responses received will be protected where so designated. An award shall be issued on or about 20 September 2007. This procurement will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract utilizing FAR Part 15 Contracting By Negotiation.
